Mendeleev, which took place in 1869.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements, a number of events are already planned in Russia. The start of the International Year of the Periodic Table in Russia is planned to be held in Moscow on February 8, 2019 on the Day of Russian Science and at the same time on the birthday of D.I. Mendeleev.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">In June 2019, Markovnikov\u2019s congress dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Markovnikov\u2019s rule is planned to take place in Kazan, and the international conference EuCheMs Inorganic Chemistry Conference will be held in Moscow.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry will be held from September 9 to 13, 2019 in St. Petersburg. It will be one of the main events of the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements proclaimed by the UN in December 2017.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\"><strong>Mendeleev 150: 4th International Conference on the Periodic Table endorsed by IUPAC <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mendeleev2019.ru\/index.php\/en\/\">(link to web-site of Conference)<\/a><br \/>\nSaint Petersburg, Russia, Septemeber 9th-13th, 2019 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\">This year the Russian Chemical Society also celebrates its 150th anniversary &#8211; it was born a year before the discovery of the periodic law D.I. Mendeleev and now bears his name.
